Hey everyone. I'm proud to showcase my armor. Spartan-029 of Gold Team. Originally I had the standard Mark VI armor until until an unfortunate accident with a gravity hammer smashed my shoulder guards and cracked my breast plate. So now I use the scout shoulders and CQB body armor. Yes there is a bayonet but it isn't shown here. If you want, you can see it in my thread. I'm also really proud of that little emblem on my left shoulder
This project consists of fiberglass combined with fibertape, making the armor doubly strong. The rifle attaches via strong magnets and is completely hand painted. Thank you to all the Spartans, Marines, and ODST's who posted tutorials and pics of their work. It was a big help and a constant inspiration to make my armor look just as good.

i am running a little behind for a "fresh finish" pic, but here it is. done just 2 days before halloween. whew! i feel pretty proud for my first build. (missing the gold on the shield :( ). will post some more pics covering detail throughout. thanks to everyone who works hard to make these models possible to build. i appreciate everyone's hard work.

Hey guys just wanted to show off my latest armour, i posted my first steel armor last year but i think i have made a better attempt at it this time. Its all made from 22 guage mild steel sheet (roughly 1mm thick) and car painted MC Green!!! its also got inch thick form, 12 leds (4 blue in the helmet, 4 yellow on the chest, one on each bicep and one on each thigh guard), a fan in the helmet and a 5kg homemade assult rifle from steel box section and more sheet steel. its not bullet proof by any means but pellet guns and paint balls don't stand much of a chance...unless i get hit in the black bits, or the visor or any other non-metal place lol. Its been the combination of 9months work and i had quite a bit of trouble getting the detail i wanted into the steel but it turned out pretty well.

i also have a video online of my photo competition entry for an event at my university its on youtube showing how i made it;

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=uz36rTzE7qY check it out; below is a pic for some reason i couldn't add more???;
