My original Steampunk Costume. Pulls inspiration from bane (Batman) and handful of Steampunk cosplays I've come across.
Gauntlet is made of Copper, plastic test tubes, 3mm foam, and 1/2" foam.
The tubes between are vinyl tubing filled with dyed water with leds blocking each end. Will probably upgrade to EL at some point.
The shoulder piece is a structure of 1/2" foam with 3mm brown foam as a skin. The cylinders are 2 liter bottle preforms (before their blown into bottle shape, and resemble big test tubes. Filled with water again.
Blaster is a nerf gun painted, with a tube mounted to look like a magazine.
All the foam is painted with Mod Podge (PVA glue more or less), which gives it a really neat leather finish.
