    It's easier and around 300 times cheaper (with the same result) using fiberglass pieces, covered with carbon fiber vinyl. Just apply with heat an reade to go.

    02.04.12 EDIT: I've unfolded the stomach piece and the belt plate BASE. I just unfolded the base because peping the details will give you a headache, and it's easier to just apply some 3mm (1/8") foam/plastic on to the base. Thank you for the hard work jtm1997!     I like building thing off of smooth files, it really makes bondo stage easier. I've built the templates, they were easy to do, I just have one question. How thick is the foam you've used? It looks to be 1.5mm thick (1/16").

    "Help!" for: Fiberglassing, Resin, & Bondo

    A fast and rough sanding will give the filler a better surface to stay, anyway any polyester based filler (which Bondo is) will stick perfectly to polyester resin.
