I shouldn't. That is the reason for using a previously used truck. By retaining the floorboard and firewall it's considered the same truck.

The best thing to do is to just get a toy of it and scale it to the frame you are going to use. Or you planning on doing everything from scratch? When I started mine I was just looking at pictures for reference. As you can see going back though the build some it wasn't quite right and I had to...

I see someone has some good resources with a junkyard in the background, lol.

I have been gone myself from here, and like what I see so far.

Stolen? How? (never mind, I just seen your thread, I have been away myself, hate to see when stuff like that happens) Mine is still on the side until I get enough parts to dive back into it fully again. The Chassis swap is requiring some changes to make it all work right. Don't want to do one...

    It's not too bad. I work a 28 day rotation schedule. So 28 on / 28 off.

I just got home from work. Still in Saudi Arabia so I loose 6 months out of the year to work on it. Still been doing some work to the 52 ford. Right now I am saving for a better welder and plasma cutter. If I can catch a free day this time home I hope to finish fitting the body to the floor pan.

This is long over due for a update. Their have been several small updates. Sorry no pictures but the bigger updates should be coming in the next few months. The 52 Ford sidetracked me longer than I though, as projects always do. I have done more cutting and fitting of the body over the Bronco...

As you can see I have had some setbacks, but each time I tried to put it back together better. Everything is aligning up good on the new chassis, we will have to trim out a little more when we do go to weld it in though. I have to take the side brackets back out too, they hit the new seat, get...

I figured I would give some kind of a little update. Got another engine to go look at when I get home from work and have a local shop that is going to do the welding from the floor pan to the roll cage. He has two cars he has to work on in front of mine as of right now. After that this project...

Let The Madness Begin, Or My Warthog Build.

I have put a lot of thought into this already. The turret is removable. I have yet to put the tabs on the framework or build the removable troop carrier part. But I have all my measurements and material list made for it. I want it where the seats and all will pull out on the troop carrier part...

Yea I am still out here. Had the kids full time this summer so what I could get done on two different projects has been limited. The 52 ford is just about finished and the kids have started school back. So it's very close to time for this project to go back to getting my full attention. Since I...

If I use the standard grade not the race grade it would be thicker. There is a glass place that can do a custom job but I don't know yet if price would be too high or not. Still working on this. Mainly collecting a few parts and looking for a engine before I dive back into this full force.

UPDATE: 12-20-2011 The work on my dads truck has taken a lot longer than I hoped it would. I have moved the warthog to under my car port. It's not enclosed, but will allow me to get the saw out and finish the trimming I need to get the body all the way down so I can get it all welded out. Try...

Let The Madness Begin, Or My Warthog Build.

I do disappear every other month to work, but it also give me a whole month off work to do whatever I want when I am home. Dad is redoing the doors on his little red express truck so after this weekend the shop will be cleared out again and I can jump into it again.
