Man, it's been so long. This build actually got destroyed in a move a few years back :( I've since moved on.

Awesome man, this is definitely going in my ODST build. The breather vents will make this super comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Any chance a scale tester was made?

Maybe someone can help me out, I'm looking for ODST pep files. If someone could point me in the right direction that'd be swell. I know I've found them on here before, I've made a couple helmets and shoulders. I want to start a new build and try some vacuum forming, but I'm not seeing any love...

I am saving the visor for vacuum forming. I'm also toying with the idea of making the helmet in separate pieces to be assembled after casting. So naturally I want the helmet to be completed sanding/detail wise before I divide it up.

The build looks great man, I have a question for you. At what point in the process did you cut out the visor from the helmet? I've applied resin to the outside and will fiberglass the inside, but I haven't started because I'm not sure if I should cut out the visor first or after the fiberglass.

yeah as for dying spandex, it doesn't really work. any fabric that is synthetic will almost never dye, definitely not the color you want. most colored spandex or lycra is heat or sublimate printed, meaning the color is laid on top of the fabric then heated and pressed into it. Like Toacrabman...
