As far as I can tell I've got all the parts, just need to connect the moving parts together. Haven't done much visually amazing, just lots of glue coats and wire framing to make the parts that need to hold shape rigid. However I do now have a chest RT: The light disperses a bit more than that...

Just a possibility I didn't mention, did you accidently tape two legs of an LED together? That'd stop it!

Nothing helpful to say, but this thread is a treasure trove of ideas, absolutely loving it. Whenever I hear someone say they're going to do a metal suit it's normally over in a couple of days, but you already look like you know what your doing so best of luck!

The actual system for the electronics is pretty small. It's just got a lot of daisychained LEDs to light the whole thing up, and when it's over a meter long and has moving parts all changing the dimensions it was easier to use a lot of wire and have no problems then to be minimalistic :). Also...
