From what i hear, plexi is hard to shape and cracks. Does anyone have any other suggestions. I have been reccomended PETG plastic 1/8"

Im trying to finish this helmet for halloween and I need advice on what type of material to use that woould be easy to bend by hand to contour the shape of this helmet. Here is my progress so far, just put a layer of putty on the fiberglassed mold.

Thanks, I went to hobby lobby a week ago and tried air drying clay. It went on really smooth, then i woke the next morning to a clay cracked helmet. Seems it didnt hold well and the clay just buckled and came off in chunks. The fiberglass mold is still good though
