basically, yes. However body filler can be used to add detail as well, your pre body filler piece looked pretty good, just another tip would be to sand then use primer prior to body filler to see the trouble spots. other than that your pep resin work looks pretty good

i have a very similar respirator and its great but the one thing you need to watch out for is the size. Id be cautious when buying something like that on ebay if you haven't been test fitted before buying. the filters in that ebay add are perfect for what you need to do... as stated above they...

download the files and open them in pepakura designer click the 2d menu from the drop down, the click scale factor and bingo you get your demensions in mm. To convert to cms just move the decimal ie. Xxx in mm will be xx.x in cms. Since everybody changes the scale of their helmets to fit...
