    I've started working with foam recently and when it came time for painting, I did something wrong. I don't know if I used too many coats or maybe it was the silver base coat I used, but the paint is cracking. I stopped putting the silver layer on the other parts and the paint doesn't Crack...

    Nice work! I had trouble getting those thin little straps under the arms to hold shape while hardening. I ended up just cutting them out completely and replacing them with foam parts. You seem to have managed yours just fine :)

    Definitely subscribing to this! I'm building this same suit and I'm trying to figure out how to install the visor. I might use the sake method you used. Seems easier than heating it to bend it. Keep up the good work!!
