Any chance we can get a printable armor power module? Zip only contains the PDO. Thanks!

YESSS! Time to try another method for finishing. So far, I've tried several include rustoleum filler primer and elbow grease, XTC3D, and a clear enamel + paint (as seen on YouTube). So far, I'm only happy with the finish from the filler primer. Unfortunately, this is also the method that...

Don't beat yourself up. 3/8" won't even be noticeable! I'm curious if some metal brackets running the length of the infinity table would be a good add at some point to increase stability and weight capacity. Shaping up great! Nice *air quote* "SHORT" list of things left before the paint starts...

Yup, stainless steel and the base is weighted. Ideal for helmets so they don't tip over with several hundred dollars up on top. They're built from paper towel holders that hypothetically support one-handed paper towel grabs. I can't vouch for that aspect but I can vouch for the not tipping part!

Gotcha. I'm happy to donate a few helmet stands to the both if you're comfortable that it can support the extra weight (~5 lbs each)

Good progress! Is the inifinity table leveled as is? I assume that's pretty important for the right 'infinity' effect. The weapon rack looks amazing. I guess I need to start printing up some rifles to add to the group's collection. A BR is on my list. Then maybe a Carbine?

Thanks! I just ordered a 24oz of XTC3D on Amazon. It was only a few dollars more for the larger size so I went with that. I'll give it a shot! So far, I've had good results with just sanding, primer/filler, sanding, painting (knee) but it was a pretty clear print to begin with. The bicep will be...

    Deaadshot's 3D Printed Halo 5 Noble Build

Thanks! So far it's all the 3D printer. I haven't actually done much work yet lol. Though it's taken plenty of troubleshooting to get the printer to behave. It's still early for the 3D printing tech so it's very much a DIY machine still. I'm sure in several years we'll laugh at how hands-on the...

    3D printed ODST

That would be great. Thanks! I'm 5'8". I like the ideal of scaling next to an AR. I'll give that a shot for the end to end measurement.

    3D printed ODST

Great progress so far! I'm doing a full 3D printed Halo 5 Noble so we should definitely share notes. I've got a build thread going as well. Scaling is definitely the trickiest part in my limited experience thus far. What sizing did you end up with for the BR? I also plan to add magnets so I can...

    Deaadshot's 3D Printed Halo 5 Noble Build

Update time! After a couple steps backwards on the printing I finally managed to hone in my CR-10s to (hopefully) avoid failures! Unfortunately, the learning came with a few setbacks on the elbows and left bicep. KNEES: Both printed, one sanded, primed (repeat), and painted with a Rustoleum Pro...

    Deaadshot's 3D Printed Halo 5 Noble Build

My first forearm came off the print bed BEAUTIFULLY! The right arm is now in 3D! (Just needs an elbow). This part came out so great I decided to just reverse it and print the left forearm next. Total time for the forearm was 47 hours. Oh and the scaling was PERFECT! The wrist is just wide enough...
