I never had an issue with using a mouse sander, if fact most of my helmet work was smoothed with one. 3d sanders are great too, Craftsman use to make a 3-headed mini orbital sander that works great on rounded areas, like helmet curves and chest plate work.

Actually sounds like a good day! ;) I think I got one. Your amazed at everyone that peps by number, when you do it by blank, single colored, solid lined poster paper. I think SKG and a few others thought I should be committed. Also when someone asks you how your helmet got all scrapped up...

You know your 405th when you drive all day to meet a group of fellow 405thers and fiberglass some pep with no gloves, safety glasses, or mask. :eek: I blame the one with the plastic floored garage ;) ..........and Sigma :p (though he and I went and bought gloves)

Though I think that the ravers have more in common with the flower children of the 60-70 and parent issues, I do agree that PARENTING is the key to any situation with children that go this far (not to speak ill of the dead). I have had access to shotguns, pistols, and rifles since I was 12...

No the pulls you take out, not the silicone mold itself. apply mild heat to the area with a heatgun or hair dryer. As the plastic gets soft you can push it back into place, when it cools back down it will be solid again. Remember MILD heat. Edit: Though if your mother mold is a plastic type you...

Very nice, I have to say you did an amazing job! One of the best molded handplates & shins I've seen. ;) BTW, don't forget with alil heat you can work out the spot were it fell, I had to do that with my original helmet mold pulls. :cool:

I'm buying 22x27 poster board for around 40c. I love my vinyl cutter/plotter :D

Did you have any problems with it curing due to fiberglassing in the cold? BTW: Doesn't look warped to me, and the photo is at alittle bit of an angle.

I myself see this as the classic "I'll murder and blame a game" complex. This kid has to have major issues, but I'm sure he has played far worse games then Halo 3. Those the have mental issues but DO know right from wrong always try to blame something, other then themselves. If he truly though...
