If you used the center reinforcing shaft (and I think you did) you should be fine - give it a try. I carried mine at DCon two years in a row and spent a good chunk of that time carrying it horizontally by the center grip only. When you are walking long distances it's easier to carry it that way...
Sorry you don't like it - like everything else, some will like it and some will not. It's not "a midi synthesizer, the likes of which have been around for around 20 years". Otherwise you would have had synthesized vocal performances/music like this cropping up for the last 20 years. That's like...
It's a good idea to stuff a twisted paper towel in the open end of the shaft to keep any extra resin from running out - ask me how I know... ;)
Slush-coat the back of the Hammer Head (this will help lock in the pins securing the detail pieces) and then let the resin settle at the bottom where...

You never cease to amaze...
Once again you have elevated what could have been a quick, simple project to a work of art. Absolutely amazing - great job, Sean!
Now that's what I'm talkin' about!!!
Glad you guys decided to bring this project back - your work was/is an inspiration. Please don't let the misguided rantings and ravings of a few maladjusted n00bs get you down. Through you we get a birds-eye view of the real deal, the holy grail of...
