It's been a long time since I've been on this site or even had a chance to do more than gaze longingly at my own barely begun George Helmet. After seeing this adventure on here, I have to ask... Did anyone ever get a finished prop out of this? Looks like it's going to be freakin' sweet.
From what little I know about you and your sense of humor, Shawn, the heart in the purity seal on a 40K space marine just fits perfectly. Nice touch with the disclaimer, though. Have you thought about getting with GW and maybe doing a deal to have your suits at official GW events?
Is it just the camera angle or is the helmet looking just a touch smallish now?
Other than that bugging me, I have to give this one a standing ovation. I *almost* have a purely platonic man-crush on you...
Ooohhh... I'm just getting back into the game of 40K for the first time in years, partly because of this thread. I just saw the Heavy Bolter Marine. Freakin' awesome with the back pack and belt feed set up. Any thoughts about getting that elaborate?
Just out of curiousity, how are you planning to articulate the hands? Are you going to go with a more flexible version of those kids' toys where they pull on a handle and the fingers of the hand close?
Damn... Reeves is a foot taller than me, but I still outweigh him by about 10 pounds? I need to lose some weight. That's pretty sweet that you're well enough known for your suits that you're being contacted by people to model for you.
I had no clue that Hall had died.
A terminator now? Just amazing, man... You're going to have find someone 7 feet tall and put him on risers 3 or 4 feet high since termies dwarf normal space marines... I wonder if the guy that played the original Predator is in the market?
I look forward to your tutorial. I'm on my third...
