my project this yeas is to build not a helmet but a mk v shoulder. and we have stock big enough to use for it. and my instructor is giving me a dscount on the price. we are using solid works 2013 edition.. thanks though

i do have access to six haas cnc macines for projects, however they do not belong to me they belong to my school, but we get to do personal projects as long as we program the machine and get the file and pay for the materials. my problem is finding the files for halo ive tried making them but...

im in the same boat as you and well ive tried converting them but the file always ends up really rough looking so ill be watching this. see if any one else post with a good idea like rundown's idea

how are you not infantryman status yet. this is epicly awesome. btw its good to know their are 405th members near me. ( i saw the geolocation page of 405th members and your the only member within 100 miles of me)

i would say use a motorcycle helmet visor that is what most halo helm visors are made from. as for the led's you can buy them individualy and then dremel holes in the visor to install them. thats what i would do

im not quite sure on my metrics but in america we can buy a pack of four 3 ft my 3ft sheets for around $19.98 USD which would come out to 18.52 AUD. you might check out your local fitness stores and ask them if they have foam floor mats for sale.

Ya I learned the hard way as well but this was like a moth frenzy. Middle of summer in Oklahoma and they are every where. I actually thought of putting another layer or two of resin to cover them up

Ok thanks. My reason for asking is I'm in a technology machining/tool and die making class. And my personal project I came up with was to build a mkVI shoulder price out of aluminum. We're using haas vf3's and some clausing mills to do them and was having trouble finding a file that would work...
