It's a small helmet cam that I used to film it, specifically a Go Pro Hero helmet cam. It comes with all the mounting hardware needed to attach to my helmet. In my case, I used the very strong double sided tape that came with it and slapped a mount straight onto my helmet.
On a 3D printer? No...
Sorry for the bump and lack of updates. I recently recorded some helmet camera footage of me using the M6C at CQB City in Stockton,CA. One of the guys who records the games there did a close-up on my kit and put the video up. Figured you guys would like to see them.
Helmet Camera Footage...
There's a few online sites out there that will take your 3D model files and look over them, then print them. Unfortunately their services tend to be quite pricey. The M6C I made would probably have cost over $600 if I had them make it for me at their rates.
Try this site out. The advantage...
For the pants, you can get standard BDU pants in either ACU, Multicam, OD, Khaki or black depending on which one you're going with.
For the mask, my friend linked me to this. We were planning on making one as well for airsofting...
Well, the guy still hasn't come down to fix it. I was talking to my teacher about the issue and he says it has something to do with his computer linking in with the 3D printers 3 computers. I didn't even realized it had three. Worse, he tells me he didn't receive a user's guide or manual for the...
After finishing up finals and projects I can finally make it back to my high school tomorrow to see what's going on. I swear that printer better be up and running or else I'm going to find someone myself to fix it.
Expect a post tomorrow afternoon, should have an answer by then.
Already have a MP7 holster and it fits with no problems. The only downside to them is they're big a bulky, and when they're holding a MP7 it makes you feel unbalanced when you run. What I'm thinking about is designing a plastic holster just for the M6C. I recently bought a Serpa holster for my...
Sorry for the lack of updates, the printer is still down, this really sucks. Going by what my teacher says, there's seems to be only 1 guy in all of Northern California who does maintenance on these printers.
In the mean time I've been working on some lower rail attachments. The first one was...
Looks like my version 2 plans are going to be delayed even longer. Just got word from my teacher and the printer is still down after nearly 2 weeks. This really sucks. The only other place near me that has a 3D printer charges a lot, something like $30 per cubic inch for the model and support...
Nope, tried but I designed the cut out slightly higher than it should have been. Removing any more material is going to make it loose and more prone to snapping.
If the version 2 slide doesn't work, I'll start looking for a used plastic hicapa slide. Then I'll just glue it on.
Also, just...
Nobody has released the extended mags for Hicapa series pistols yet, although WE is suppose to be coming out with one. Might be a tad too long though. Anyways, extended mags normally get in the way when you holster the pistol, and have a tendency to release themselves if the holster gets bumped...
Here's some pictures of the final product. I'd take pictures outside, but it's sort of dark by the time I get out of school. I can try to get some tomorrow since class is canceled.
With flash on. Notice the jagged side surface on the lower half. This is due to the 3D printer printing in...
