would spraying it with primer and then sanding it work?

Does anyone know how to get the grain out of wood? I plan on molding and casting a piece made out of wood, and even though I sanded it smooth I know the wood grains would show up in the texture of it so I am wondering what I should do to smooth those out?

I'm not making making fun of him for his weight at all i was just saying that his weight takes away some of the look of a spartan and he will have to deal with it by either adjusting the pieces to fit and look better, or lose some weight

6/10 it's a very nice build but it doesn't even look like you used bondo, or if you did you didn't sand it much the angles on the armor are very visible and some flat parts are warped badly I also see that you experimented with weathering on your armor, you only did little parts spread way...

would it be okay to use 65lb cardstock for armor? or would it warp too much? or should i just get 110lb cardstock?

thanks for the pdo. but before even building it i see a problem these parts in the back of the slide are intersecting and won't fit together in building it
