REAL Iron Man/War Machine peps, 405th teamup!

Maybe you know a friend that can lend or sell you a cheap old windows computer. I have a Mac too and I got lucky that my dad had a 5 year old laptop that he didn't even use anymore. Pep is the only thing I use it for.

me too. This is the second time I got my hopes up waiting for someone else to produce a great model. I mean, I appreciate the thought and the intentions and all, but I would made a model myself by now if I didn't think someone else was already gonna do it. Ah well...

    Ironman Mark 6 ?

I had the same thought. I love the armor from the first movie, but now that the new armor is out I need to build the new one first.

    Ironman Mark 6 ?

A site selling sheet polystyrene. Same plastic model kits are made from. I've worked with it. I'd recommend .040-.080 for armor projects. Not bad prices for large sheets but if anyone is gonna try this feel free to look some more. I'm going to try this with my MK VI but I have a long way to go...

    Ironman Mark 6 ?

Anyone ever consider building armor with a pep file, but transferring the pattern onto sheet plastic and building it like that? For some complex curvy pieces this might not work, but there are a lot of angular, flat pieces on the MK vi. One could avoid all the bondo and resin.

    Ironman Mark 6 ?

Now I'm gettin' excited about this. I just started working on it when I saw this thread started. Soon as I have anything worth showing off I'll post it.

    Ironman Mark 6 ?

For more good reference go check out the Iron Man 2 movie site. They have a thing where you can look around the suit but it's not orthographic views. Still good close ups. Might wanna screen save to get those. Great pic of the missiles coming outta his arm.

    Ironman Mark 6 ?

I scanned these from the new Art of Iron Man 2 book. I was about to start it in lightwave but I'm slow so have at it!

Iron Man Files High And Medium Def.

Hey guys! Thanks for all the work your doing for this Iron Man! I found a great image of what I think is the studio CG model. It was on a blueprint site that requires you log in to see it, so I thought I'd post it here so everyone can have it. It's not the best quality, but you get a good flat...
