Sorry for being slow to get on the wagon, but I am there in my ODST armor.

"Out of character"? Ha! This year someone wanted to record a video of me in my costume and her skipping merrily side by side. Of course I indulged her. :)

I find that materials and scaling is the hard part, so I think you are past the initial trial. Plenty of challenge ahead, but if you can get this far, you can go all the way. :)

I want to seem him at one of these events while in my ODST gear so I can salute Gunny Buck. I get the feeling he would return the gesture.

Blah, I am only in one of those pictures you posted, and even then I am behind someone's arm in the foreground so all you can see is one of my shoulders and a bit of my helmet. :p Still looking for pictures of me from the event. Not finding any so far. :(

One of my friends snapped a photo of this shoot before I got there, and tagged the guy in the marine armor as me on Facebook. I had to correct him that, no, my armor has an enclosed helmet, but not before several friends of mine said how cool the armor was. :p

I just finished doing a re-strap of my armor. Now my gear will maintain tighter alignment, I no longer have to wear a stuffy nylon vest, and my waistline looks slimmer to boot!

I am just finishing up some retouching of my armor, giving it a nice renewed base coat, followed by a washing and a drybrushing. Currently waiting for one coat to dry so I can move onto the next one. After that, all I have to do is restrap the pauldrons and I am good to go. I even added an...

That works for me. Just so long as I know it will be later in the day, I can make appropriate arrangements at my work.

Regarding the Thursday photoshoot, do we have a ballpark idea of when during the day that will be taking place? I want to be there, but I need to make arrangements to be out of work, in-costume, and on-site during the shoot. To that end, I would favor doing it later in the day, either late...
