Wow - I've got to say this is one of the nicer foam build I've seen on here.
It confirms I totally have to try plasti-dip... it seems to be wonderful at hiding seams - in a previous post, you were saying you were going to try different products. Did you ??? and if you did, what were the results...

I had originally planned to build mine this way - but my team had access to a vaccuforming table... and it was easier replicating suit with vaccuforming than with craft foam. However, I always knew it could be done.

But I just wanted to jump in and say that those shins are a bit too small to my taste. They definitely need to be wider, but I don't know about the height. I would make them just a bit taller. I think you'll have a hard time acheiving that by just scalling...
Well... just want to say I did finish my Shredder costume - I went with the TMNT 2003 TV serie look.
I think it's great for a 1.5 week project :)
