At this stage a nice coat of auto body filler primer will fill those lines right up. Did one coat with mine and sanded that smooth. No more work needed

I'm with SgtSaint here. I don't have a lot of knowledge about wearing armour but its always good to test it out for a day at home. An added bonus is that you also get a feel for how to move around in it.
You should also watch out that if the boots retain a lot of heat that they could also get...
I don't know why as i've never seen the movie, but the first thing that popped into my mind was: Shiny and chrome!

Wow, apart from some small artifacts from 3D printing this looks really smooth already. Great idea to print it in the colors you want in the end. Saves some time on priming and sanding as well
