Im a wildland firefighter, and will be going to texas. So as soon as I get back I will be trying this out. I will be sure to post picks of my progress.

Cool I really can't wait to give this a try on my rogue helmet! I think I will try a 4 piece mold. Alittle bummed though, cuz I will have to wait till I get back from my 16 day fire assignment. :-[

Fiberglass is lighter but if your not used to working with it you can create air pockets all over your helmet. I have dont both a fiberglass and rondo helmet, I would go with the rondo.

one more thing, what did you use for the hard casting on the out side of the silicon mold?

hi, i have a rogue helmet that i want to mold, i've been to the smooth on site but im not sure witch mold kit to buy??? or what plastic to pore into the mold. if u could message me the names of what u used it would help me out ALOT! thanks P.S. ur helmet looks F***IN amazing, hope mine comes...

Thank! That what I have been doing just wanted to see if there was anything I could do to make the seams look better. Do u use any fillers for the areas thats dont match up the way u want?

Hello I've just started my foam chest piece and ur pieces look realy good I was wondering, how do u smooth out your edges after your done gluing them?

As long as they arnt frozen it should be fine, when I take it out for a trial run I will be sure to take lots of pics

I had the same prob, for the lines it your printer settings. I forget what it was but go to the printer setting and try changing it to high quality. The,the numbers, on the 2D menu make sure the "show edge ID" is checked. Hope that helps
