    Jin Roh Armor

I believe it was nintendude who had the files for this. For Jin-roh, or one of the two live action movies that gave birth to the panzer cops.

    pipboy 3000

Has anyone made or found an unfolded pipboy 3000 from fallout 3, or any of the other variants of the pipboy? I used the search on this site, as well as google and have thus far only found folded models for pepakura. Looking for the pepakura files, unfolded.

    Fallout 3 Terminator Wip.

Have you done any more work on the BOS armor? This is an amazing show of skill. Once i have completed my ODST build, i will begin working of BOS armor, and your thread is my major sourc of encouragement to keep going after all the annoyances of pepakura.

First Pep Attempt/ my ODST WIP

I tried a different brand of super glue, four tubes for one dollar. But this glue is horrible. It takes almost a minuete to dry and is incredibly runny. Its almost like water, just gets every where. I have the torso built now. And i have resined the outer side of it twice and...

First Pep Attempt/ my ODST WIP

i picked up a quart of 3m brand (I thought 3m made bondo, but if they did, whats the point in having a product thats the same under just the 3m logo?) fiberglass resin. I am going to try it and see if there is a difference in the end result. Part of my goal with this, my first project, is to...

    question about supplies

considering you are more then likely to be more experienced then i am you are most probably correct, but for me i found the thinner material (the matting) to be easier to get in the rite size and shape i needed so it would fit in all the tight spaces.

    Emiles Visor!

vacuum forming (use the search option to find info on it) is the best way to get the shape. As for the skull design, as far as i know, the best method for that is to trace it onto the visor and then use a craft knife and a few fine grade files and clay modeling tools. On the website...

    Larp

You could always check for a local Amtgard group. After the SCA, second largest LARP in the world. They have groups as far out as Germany and Australia. Somewhere oline, there is an amtgard atlas, though it does not get updated often, it will show you the location of the groups in the u.s. also...

    question about supplies

fiberglass resin is needed. If you buy bondo brand it comes with hardener. You should also get fiberglass matting or cloth. The looks prettier, but from my experience i have found that the matting works better for this type of project. I would go with standard body filler.

First Pep Attempt/ my ODST WIP

i currently lack the room for a vacuum table, otherwise i'd be all over that like white on rice. At least with the small pieces i have resined thus far i have noticed no warping. I did get some warpage from superglue in the initial build stage, but none from the resin.
