Recon H3 my first prop build ever

Possible fix and some tips Drill a hole in a flat spot of the detail piece, just be careful not to drill into the helmet layer. Then mix up some resin and pour it into the hole until the detail piece is full. once the resin cures, use bondo to make the hole disappear. Also, (and I...

    I Can't Access The Site.

Can someone help me. I have not been able to access the site from my house for a couple of weeks. The error I get is "Oops! This link appears to be broken." I have tried restarting, deleting all temporary files, reinstalling IE, switching to Firefox, but nothing worked. I did get in to the...

    My First (Customised) Mjolnir Suit

Here's a link to what I did to fix that on my forearm pieces: Link It may be a little bit easier to do before you resin, but you really have to be careful not to warp the part. Here's how they turned out: My W.I.P. BTW: Expect a few more rebuilds before you complete your suit. I...

I Hate My Work On My Pred

Maybe if you sanded off the detail on the mouth area, and connect two sides to complete the toothy grin? Also if there is a way to cut the tooth edtails in deeper, or build them out to give them a little bit more depth? BTW: the runes / glyphs on the cheeks are bad a$$.

    Props Reference Pics Needed.

Yeah, that's what I figured. I've started another one, sized to 21.9 cm long (about 85%). By the time I bondo on some details, it should be just about right.

    Props Reference Pics Needed.

Could someone get some screenshots of the MC holding a Magnum up in the gallery? I went through all the weapons/armor pics but only found this one: It's kind of hard to tell how big it is in relation to MC's hand/arm. If someone could post a side view, in hand, that would be great...

I Cannot Get The Scaling Right...

Here's a possible solution: Pics were the best way for me to try and explain this. You can see in the second pic how it will change the part. Before chopping into your shin, I would at least put a couple coats of resin on the thing to make it a bit stronger. That way you don't...

I Cannot Get The Scaling Right...

5th-6th time!!?? That Sucks. I had to redo both my shins, after I fiberglassed them. They fit o.k. when I finished the pep, test fitted them again after resining, but once I hardened them up with fiberglass, my foot wasn't ever going through the lower bottleneck section. So I scaled them up...

    Mega Man Volnutt .objs

I didn't find any good pics of that particular helmet yet, but I did find a free, high poly Megaman X model on turbosquid.com. The model was created by Notsogr8one and is in .3DS &.MAX format. For me, game accuracy is not that important, I would just like a helmet to complete the suit. Here's...

Thanks Afr0Blu3, I was gonna ask about a helmet too, but I didn't want to sound greedy :D I'm glad you like the unfolds.

    Megaman Voltnutt Armor W.i.p.

Finished unfolding the last pieces. Links are in the first post. I'm going to see if Afr0Blu3 would be willing to model the backpack & boots as well. I thought I saw a Megaman helmet around here somewhere, but I haven't been able to find it.

    Release Agent

I have used paste car wax to make fiberglass molds of fiberlass parts. Rub on the wax, let dry to a haze, and polish it off, repaet two more times. I've never made any silicone molds though.
