I finally started marking all the folds with pen and will so be glueing my helmet together (bout time). All I have is tacky glue so I was wondering if that will be an ok chice to use, it is very strong and decently resistant to heat. I just want to know if anyone has used it and had any problems.

Nothing would annoy me more than getting done with my helmet then installing crap lights. So what is a really bright,cool(as in doesn't get hot), and most importantly; found regularly in stores like radio shack. as always all comments that are positive toward the goal are welcomed.

I would suggest using foam board instead of pep. I have seen lots of sweet weapons come out of foam boards on these forums. Particularly a Spartan Lazer.

for his face (if you need his face) you can look in a haloween store. Ive seen em around.

To get the definatve answer make a quick square of exactly how you made the helmet. then try and resin it, if it doesn't work see if you can sand it and make it work. Ergo the results on the square will be the results on the helmet. For your sake I hope you can.

I guess the best chance I got in a definative answer is doing it. I'll tell you what happens whenever it is I can afford resin (school pays later in life unfortunately for me at the moment)

well i know it wont look good straight up paper machee, thats why i'm wondering if I can use resin and bondo it after it has been machee'd. Hopefully out of all the cardboard stuff on here somebody knows if thats possible. If not then can I just resin then bondo the cardboard itself.

So I scrapped my MC suit for the time being and to get some bondo/fibreglass skills I decided to make a 1980's cartoon shredder costume (from teenage mutant ninja turtles). the only problem is that I don't know how to go about making a cardboard costume. I presume you can fibreglass it and bondo...
