ALRIGHTY! ive just finished my super awesome scout helmet (SASH) lol.. and now im moving on to fiber glassing my main question to 405th would be.. is there any certain way to fiber glass.. where do you start like from the inside to the outside? or what? can anyone kind of give me an idea. THEN...

i'd think maybe $200-300 for a full suit of armor.. but 6k..?

So ral says that the tut he had out isnt really for the scout just Mark Vi. so im just going to scale it up and go with that. and if its to small or big.. like i said XD.. ill just redo it.

Actually uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh.... with my scaled up model what i believe to be as the strut... is 3 inches...

im not to sure on what you mean... but this is the normal scale... 25.0cm height 27.2cm width im just going to do a test model and if its to small ill start new.. this one doesnt have that many peices so it'll be easy to scale up/down and redo

Sorry if anyones mixing anyone up its me mixing you up XD.. My first helmet was the Mark VI it was 31.9cm in height and 27.8cm width Edit sorry no pics : ( no camera My second helmet im going to work on is the Scout and the measurements are 2 25.0cm height 27.2cm width sorry about that XD..

i take the tip of the measuring take and pull it to the other side of my ear. :sleep: so from one tip of my ear on my left side and then the other on the right. and it comes out 14 inches. maybe i do mean the diametere im sorry im not good with this scaling stuff :sleep:

These are the sizes for the helmet and its normal scale( sorry if im frustrating you ) Height 250 mm Weight 271 mm Depth 367 mm I have seen the Official pep scaling thread.

ok SO. heres what i did. I measured from ear to ear and i got 14 inchs. and i converted it 14 inches => 35.6 centimeters 356 millimeters My whole head 25 inches => 63.5 centimeters 635 millimeters Height of my face. 10 inches => 25.4 centimeters 254 millimeters so i can go in and id...

one last thing uuuuuuh this is my second helmet My first one came out huge.. and its scale was 31.9 by 27.8
