Any type of heavy boot like work boots or hiking/mountaining boots would be sufficient. Military grade boots work great too, just check a local surplus or order online. Pay attention to the tread too, military shoes usually have the same sole as most of the Halo characters.

Don't worry, I had the same problem with the overlapping numbers!! It was a nightmare, especially after realizing my pep was scaled too small Oh well trial and error, trial and error. Hope to see some good work from ya!

Wow, to me the chest armor looks perfectly sized!! Cheers to you, I know I got mine sized wayyy too small first time around hahah. I wouldn't stress too much on it being too big because remember you have to fit all the under armor underneath and have it fit ;) Keep up the good work!

That looks spot-on my man. From what I can see it looks great, although ido agree it looks slightly angled, but its not too big of a deal in the long run (i.e. Its not worth trashing that helm ;) ) I'd love to see more pics from different angles

@flipboy: I know, its truly something else, especially since he installed hinges so the eyecamo will actually move like in teh game (I know think there is a battery, its manually moved I'm pretty sure) Also here's another tip: The stuff Jiro used to sculpt the chin part is Wave Epoxy Putty Gray...
