Correct, but those unfolds were based on the cosplay guide if I recall correctly. I was wondering if another pass at unfolding would be made now that the game is out and there are accessible 3d models.

Are there any plans in the pipes regarding the unfolding of in-game MK VII stuff?

There's another model you might want to look at on thingiverse. The needle rifle by oddverse, it's really high quality and has a lot of moving parts.
You might want to make them slightly larger, to account for the cloth you'll be wearing underneath it. Something you might want to keep in mind is that the neck hole needs to be large enough for your head to fit through, but judging by the picture you should be fine.

Fair and valid. Myself I'll be tinkering with the files a bit, see if I can increase their comfort and the mobility a bit. I'm looking forward to the end result on your build.
I have to say, your build is looking extremely impressive.
How are you finding the range of motion if I may ask. I got the same files (except for any shell pieces, they weren't on cgtrader for some reason) (found them am a dumb) and range of motion has been a bit too restrictive for me.
