So, everyone here typically means Polyurethane Resin, when they say "Resin"... but, I've heard of something called Aqua Resin. What is the difference between the two, and is one better than the other?

Would anyone happen to have bondo'ed armor pieces that are being scrapped for whatever reason, that they'd be willing to part with? A shoulder or shinplate would be best. I'd really like to try this out and post results... help would be greatly appreciated. :unsure:

Well, that's true... hmmm... who on earth would want brown armor though? ;) It's kinda funny, but my fiancee (soon to be wife) wants a suit made up in black so she can be "my" Tex. Church would then have an "official" girlfriend at cons. LOL

I also agree, this is a very innovative idea and I wish you luck on your build. Be sure to keep your size in mind when crafting your armor. You don't want it *too* big. ;) Also, when you get to the chest plate, are you going to shape it to look more "feminine" or are you going to round it...

How tall are you? It seems as if you'd be a bit tall for a Grunt... have you taken height into consideration?

Well, the best that I could do right now is throw a MS Paint of what I had in mind. (as previously stated, I don't have the resources to pull this off) But, if someone else has a spare shoulder, or shinplate that has been bondo'ed and painted and is willing to experiment, I may be able to help...
