I build the smg and Probably resin it twice on the outside and rondo the inside just to give it some weight and strength. I hope the weather gets better tomorrow. Thats the best I've come up with to have a strong weapon.

You could try using some chicago screws with nylon webbing you could buy at hobby lobby. there is a sticky on strapping on the forums (Noob forum) check it out there's different ideals out there.

Ok yes you do need fiberglass resin and fiberglass cloth. I usually resin twice outside and resin and fiberglass ( meaning use fiberglass cloth dip it in resin and apply) but only after applying resin alone to the inside of the helmet. Then your will be hard enough to work on, meaning use Bondo...

this is the type of stuff everyone should avoid, recasting. Only those whose worked with the original should know the imperfections the original has, so if they say its a recast they should know, plus $85 come on not alot of blood sweat and hours went into that just to be sold for $85. Big Props On your Prop, Great Job on the Spiker it looks extremely good compared to real thing. Keep it up on the cardboard props I know it harder to make than pepping any weapon I've tried. All it need is a nice paint job keep us updated. Corrected nice catch Underdogg13
