    Deciding your color patterns?

For planning out, if you have the experience then putting your armour into Blender and then texturing it is possibly a good way to try things. An easier way might be to take screenshots of your avatar in Armorsmith and then paint over it with Photoshop. If you don't have Armorsmith then in-game...

    AAP/DAKH Ordnance Pack?

I think that there's similar stuff in halo reach, you might be able to borrow the attachments from that part of the armoury. If you making it by hand then you could just eyeball the parts, attachments don't have to be exact scale in the same way that the main armour does to look right.

Pepakura Looking for low poly Halo 4 Master Chief pep files

Also, the foam templates usually have the glue tabs removed as the edge of the foam is enough surface for glueing.

    Helmet sizing

I've seen people make their helmets in such a way that part of the back comes off to allow their head in. Most of the helmets (that I'm aware of) have openings that are too small to get one's head through so a helmet with a big enough opening would look very large when worn. Having a removable...

First time, have a few questions.

There should be an unfold option in armoursmith and most files from the armoury are already unfolded. It's the pattern layout tab, just above the top left of the viewport thing with your avatar in it.

    Halo Wars Newbie!

Halo Wars 2 follows the same characters years after the events of HW1, but not that long for them due to cryo sleep. It's mostly a standalone story.

    Halo Wars Newbie!

Halo Wars 1 has a rock paper scissors approach to infantry, vehicles and aircraft. Looking it up in the instructions booklet, vehicles beat infantry, infantry beat aircraft, aircraft beat vehicles. But there are exceptions, some units are specialised to fight against the rock paper scissors...

Need help in converting the MKVII Armor from .PDO to .OBJ

I could make the OBJs, but I'd like to know the forum's rules on sharing stuff from the armoury and converting the formats first. I seem to remember that it's fine but would like confirmation.

    How can 343 help?

I'm not sure of the logistics of it (I assume that there might be a legal thing that needs looking at), but having a link to the forums here and making reference to all of the tutorial and model stuff that we have here. It could be a nice nod to the work that everyone does here and provide a...

Halo 2 - Sangheili (Elite) - High Councilor

The paid version of Papakura allows exporting the PDO as an OBJ which Blender can open.

Need advice for fitting Halo armor on shorter people.

If you are willing to spend money on software then I would recommend Armorsmith, it's a virtual avatar which you can size to your measurements and allows you to import and resize pepakura files onto your virtual self. There's also the traditional duct tape dummy method.
