C 4468, i assume your referring to fiberglass resin, which is liquid. Cold, especially freezing weather/temperatures severely retard the hardening of resin. You could use large amounts of hardener, but this would cause the resin to dry overly brittle. You are best waiting till sprig to finish...
Why is CNC prototyping so expensive? If your making the 3-D models, and the foam in cheap, as is the electricity to run the CNC, where does the cost come from?
Ok, Weird Nal, you want to cut the gun LENGTHWISE. If it were a "normal" looking gun it would be the equivalent of cutting it down the barrel. You would then have two shallow long halves.
Darkshadownite, not at all. The strength of fiberglass is 10 times stronger than Bondo. Bondo cannot...
Well, nothing should lump, and detail shouldn't be lost as you would fiberglass the inside. Only use the Bondo for corrections, and not for strength, so you don't lose detail.
You don't have to be a jerk about it frost. It has nothing to do with it being official or not. Alot of people have asked the question so I figured I'd kill a flock of birds with one frag.
