Well I'm really late, with a couple update photos. But I did get my rifle signed by Chris Avellone. Also I took off the little knob that would be the bipod mount. It wasn't holding well to the receiver and it became a pain when holding the rifle. Here's a crappy quality picture of the signature...

For my lenses I used some mirrored red window tint and lexan that i shaped and heated.

The rifle is nearly complete just needs weathering at this point, also the camera really washed out the colors. Seeing how the cheek rest is really flat black. And a picture of the original rifle for comparison.

I don't know if they have left over spots, not walking with 405th. But I do know the parade cut off date was a while back.

Would it be possible to make it a master for a cast, or is it too warped for even a cast version to fit.

So anyone have an idea how to make the eyes glow?

And here is the product I wore to con. And the things I want to improve on this are, adding the second light to the helmet. Making a better duster with the oxytank and the pouches. Also want to redo the lenses so they glow and so they are easier to see through. And the rim of the helmet...

That is going to be added, just don't know how I will do it.

Ok and here is the rest of it. Helmet with face mask with rough finish. Painted face mask, with fitted lenses. Added dark accents, weathering, and tinted the lenses. Pretty much completed helmet.

No Gauss rifle?
