So I did some final adjustments to the build and was a big hit at work - but this particular project is done. I added velcro to the insides of the hip and thigh plates to keep them in place a little better, because no matter how tight my strapping got it never quite felt like it wasn't slipping...

Thanks Kula. I've done some additional heat shaping, and created some tactical pouches as well as tightening some of the straps. Looking forward to another test fit and pictures.this weekend some time.

Second DFT suit finished:

Well I've got a few bits of strapping to adjust and I haven't attached the waste strap yet because I'm waiting on the completion of the tactical pouches to do that, but the test fit was looking pretty alright. Going to tighten straps and build pouches over the course of the week, then evaluate...

Alright - painting and strapping are done, and I sourced the underclothes. Hoping to get a test fit shot in the next day or two, and then begin on some accessories in preparation for a Halloween premier of my little fire team.

Back from vacation, and completed the second build. I've got half of it plasti-dipped already, and hope to start the painting process for the other pieces this weekend. With any luck I will be installing straps by early next week and sourcing my underclothes for a Halloween debut.

I just made a pretty good visor with transparency sheets (like for a projector) and window tinting. Cut to shape, tint, and then glue in place.
