I know it's not Halo related or anything but I got bored and decided to post a little project I did in just a few days with random cardboard and things laying around the house. Not perfect but hey it cost me a total of $1.50 to make.

Well I got really lazy and ran out of nice weather. Got sick of seeing it lay around for a few months so I decided to try and finish it. Didn't come out as good as I was hoping but I could have easily spent more and more time on it. Any suggestions?

I know you can mix resin and filler together to make a "mud" but can you put polyester resin over dried body filler? Or will the two catalysts eat each other? Im working on a shotty and would like to do this for a final smooth layer and keep the filler from cracking? Am I in the wrong to suggest...

Oh man. Well yea i didnt spray it too much about 2 light coats because i got frustrated with it coming unglued. You can still see bits of white from the paper behind parts where i sprayed. Did you mist it on or just like sprayed it kinda thickish?

Did you spray it without doing anything else, just directly to the paper without resin or anything? Because mine was just all paper and it didnt work so great. Oh and did you use plasti-cote or the duplicolor kind? And does this look right?
