Beautiful cast! What kind of resin did you use? Also, is the epoxy putty you mentioned the red-colored areas of your cast? I ask because in casting my magnum pistols, I'm noticing very similar voids. I've been thinking of using a slower-curing resin or even a vacuum chamber because of this.

Very good job on the helm, I notice often that it can be hard to get the proportions/ form of the ODST right but I think you nailed it. Keep it up.

This is definitely one of my favorite projects on the noob board right now. There is nothing cooler than designing your own permutations, and I'm also a huge fan of Isaac Hannaford's work (http://www.isaachannaford.com/). That paint job is incredible, is this going to be part of an entire suit...
