Hey just a little update! I have carved some of the foam! Its getting to the right shape but I need more foam ): Then I have to cover it in masking tape, then paper mashe, sanding and if more detail is needed paper clay!

Thank you for the encouragement! More little update. I have bean carving shape into the foam, but I only got one can so I need to get more. I have found http://www.cosplay.com/costume/222017/ who uses expanding foam a lot and her idea I will use! I will add that to my description as well...

Looks good so far! I think you should trip all the sides so its even then add a border. I think that would make it awesome (: Keep up the good work.

Updates!! I put the expanding foam on the crest and just waiting to sand and stuff... This stuff looks freaky, and it gets sticky quick (30sec) then it skins over. I think I will leave it till later in the afternoon to do anything to it... Some pics here:

Its looking good so far! Could I ask, how much did you change the chest for your bust? This is something I am worried about if I take the pep route. Keep up the good work! ;)

D: I know I am thinking of going for a false look. By building up the back of my ankle and the bottom of my calf and then sculpting that into it... But maybe Ill just have 2 pairs of shoes one to walk around in and one for on stage! (: Thanks for the comments both of you!

Little update: I am working on the Crest now. A LOT of work to do on it but here are some early shots of it. With some lines to help you see what I hope it will look like. Also KrovikanCorvinus sent me some really good plans for the inside mouth. I will revise and post what I am going...

Some updates here: Her upper head is neatly done. I will be trying it on the helmet soon. and the teeth need sanding an some more for the top jaw. But all the bottom and little mouth are done!
