first off, go to creation discussion, and there is a weapon and prop forum. you can learn a lot by reading in there. BUT i wouldn't start on a weapon. they're honestly MUCH harder to make than armor.

is there anyway around that rule? i mean i joined before that was in place, and i even made a full suit of pep armor...... i dont want to be considered a noobie :[

if you actually spend all of the 4hrs a weekday and 10 hours a weekend then it'll actually get done pretty quick(i spent about the same amount of time working on mine). i didn't bondo and sand my suit (i liked the polygon-ness of it) and it took me a week and a half from first pepakura sheet...

hey hey everyone i DID finish the suit on time, but BARELY..... the epoxy on the codpiece didnt dry fast enough so i had a rubber band holding one side together.... but damn did i look good!!!! thanks everyone for giving me the motivation to finish it on time, it really came down to last...

i didn't have time to bondo mine cause i made a whole suit......your helmet makes me wish i HAD started weeks earlier and bondo'ed everything. This is AMAZING looking, you did a great job!
