I'm getting more and more into the cosplay/costuming scene. It all started last year when I got bit by the Star Wars costuming bug. Since then I've completed a set of Sandtrooper armor for myself and a generic Jedi. I get help and always end up making a second set of things for my husband (SlimJim). I've always ooo'ed and aw'ed over the various Halo armor I've seen at conventions. After talking with a few chaps at Jet City Comic Show, my husband asked if we could do Halo armor for our next project.
