thanks ^_^. and yeah, the key to chain maille is to take your time, and just focus on small goals lol. its REALLY easy to get over whelmed with the total amount of work that is involved in making chain maille

hey guys, its been a freaking long time sense i have posted anything !! as some of you may know, i finished my halo armour, and am now working on something completely non-halo. regardless, here are some pictures of the progress to date: and this one is just for fun, i wanted to see...

dude, i just went through your thread, and i gotta say: you have a VERY sweet build going on here !! i am loving how the foam is making your build look. and i can only imagine that its quite comfortable and doesn't get in the way of range of motion all that much does it ?

well, i know there is someone kicking around moncton who is making some halo armour, when i bought my visor the people told me that i was the second person within two weeks to come looking for a gold mirrored visor for the same reasons... but i have no idea who or where they are.

oh that is for sure true. and i would love to, but if school demands my attention and time, then i will have to stay there.

oh, and i'm not sure if i will be able to get away from school for the con... i'm still in uni sadly.

thanks ^_^, and to be honest i'm not sure. i might be going on a trip this summer so it would totally depend on when we leave and get back. but i wouldn't mind going to a convention with the armour... depending on when we leave i might go to animeritimes in moncton instead.

hey there my fellow 405th'ers, O.T. here with my final update on my WIP !! that's right, i finally managed to finish the full suit of armour ! i'm supper pumped about how it turned out. sadly, on the first test run around campus the toes to the boots bought the farm... and now that the...

haha yeah, i'm working on that. should be getting that particular padding in the next day or two. but thanks ^_^. i'm really loving how its all coming together, ^_^

i'm using the standard mirrored gold tint. i entertained the idea of using silver... but then figured i had enough on the actual armour itself so i went with gold lol

all i can say to this build is that it is about as epic as builds can get ! ^_^. your armour is going to look AMAZING when its all done, and i can't wait to see pictures when it is ^_^

ok, just a quick update. the armour is coming along nicely... got the chest piece rigged so that it sits very comfortably on the chest and back. gonna start working on figuring out a way to rig the bicep pieces so they sit right now, also managed to install some padding in some of the pieces but...

haha one we will never really know as to what is the base colour ;) but yeah, the 'character' that goes along with the armour is supposed to be a more "hands-on" spartan, who has been through battle after battle from the very start. so it only makes logic sense that his armour would be all beet...

nice job on the jorge build !! ^_^ i just gotta know, where did you find those shoulders, and that backpack ? i have been looking for them for quite some time, with no luck.

well allow me to say what i'm sure has been said many many times before: you are going a GREAT job on this build ! ^_^ its going to look amazing when you are all done... and its unfortunate that you had to have that 'disagreement' with the warped shoulder piece... though i totally understand you...
