oh i see, good idea. but the pep is just a mold for the vac-former, the actual blades will be made from clear polystyrene (plastic). that sounds like a good light defuser that i could try out though. :)

when i make the actual polystyrene pieces i will cut the molds in half so that two pieces will be put together into one, so i can house the electronics before i put the pieces together. and why do you think black light leds?

not exactly sure what models or specs of electronics im going to use but im probably going to start out with two simple high powered blue led strings and make them turn on simultaneous with one switch, nothing special. if any one has some suggestions for the electronics please feel free to speak up.

well im working on a light up energy sword. im starting out by pepping the blades and handle then im going to harden them with either fiber glass or smooth-on products, those will be the molds. then im planning on vacuum forming the blades with clear polystyrene and the handle in white or grey...
