Just went back today to the pep files and where previously it was giving me error messages, I can download! - a very happy day for me - now on to sizing and printing :)

I cannot start a build due to not having access to the pep files - I have no pattern. The materials are in my basement, just waiting (also my glue gun is in shipping)

The foam weapons always amaze me, but I am afraid of the durability aspect. I would hate to break/rip one after all the work put in. Do you find they stand up to wear well?

That was the biggest question for me too, so many editions of Halo and armour class types. I have not actually played the game (I know I know) but became hooked on the armour through watching red vs blue. My suggestion is just look at pictures until something resonates with you. I'm sure once...

ooo I just saw a comment regarding this on another post - The best is a high temp glue, but a better alternative is super glue (Barge cement). It is sandable and will not melt from body heat (or leaving it in a car).

I have not started my build yet, but I intend to do foam armour with glue. I have found previously (with other projects) that the low temp glue also tends to pop. I am going to be investing in a higher temp glue gun with the larger temp glue sticks for better bonding. There are also some tips...
