    Purelunatic's Armor Progress

When I finish my armor I'm going to make some bunny sized MC helmets I think  But, back to the armor, I finished the helmet. I used FS model with a height of 27.4cm and it seems pretty good. Below are some pics. I had to cut a lot of the bottom away to get my head in but that seems to...

Now if I could only find a bunny sized respirator... :p

    Purelunatic's Armor Progress

I have 2 rabbits actually, the one featured above and a brown holland lop named Hershey. I think they can live for 7 years, if not more if treated well. I'm glad my scaling was able to help you. So far that has been the hardest part to making this armor.

Well I used 40cm for the shin and 42 for the thigh and they seemed to work out. Though 2cm extra on the shin wouldn't hurt. BTW, I was reading your armor thread and noticed you made the torso. Since we seem to be the same height would you mine telling me the scale/height you used for it, as...

    Purelunatic's Armor Progress

@Macattack64 For the most part I used Robogenisis' low detail models with my height for the scale. Then I made them to see how they looked. After that it was more or less a rough estimate for the high detail models. However crackheads models seem to be about 3 cm bigger for the thigh and...

Well I finished a left shin today. It seems to be proportional to the thigh, I have to hold it up a bit since the boot i have isn't really finished. What does everyone think?

@ChaoBreeder Here's another pic of my bunny, named Cadbury, chewing on the helmet. He doesn't seem to like it much :p @hognoshal Thank you very much, I'm flattered :D @BlacRoseImmortal Thanks, I'm trying really hard to make the scaling as perfect as I can. I don't want to look too huge...

@ Ral Partha Yep, I can slide my hand through the forearm, but there isn't a lot of room. As far as the heights go, the bicep was 34.0 cm using Robogenisis' model, and the forearm 32.8 cm using Nuggets model. @ Macattack64 Well I used Crackhead model for the thigh at a height of 42 cm. This...

    Purelunatic's Armor Progress

Okay, big time update. I finished resizing a thigh which worked out great. As well, I made a bicep, forearm and "space diaper" that also seem to fit. Along with those I made a tester helmet for FS' HD model. It seems fine to me. What does everyone think about the sizing for all of the pieces?

How To Smooth Your Helmet By Wetsanding

Thanks for the tut, it was short and sweet. I was wondering what people meant when they said wet sanding, now I know.

Yep, you shouldn't have any problem making this stuff. But using cardboard will be much harder compared to card stock. Read the pepakura tutorials and the rest of the sticky topics to get a better understanding of what it takes to make the armor.

    Purelunatic's Armor Progress

Thanks for the input everyone. I'm gonna work on the forearm and boot this weekend. Maybe even the bicep. I've also printed off another thigh at a lower scale/height as suggested by gamerguy. I'll have some updates in a couple of days.

    Purelunatic's Armor Progress

I'm using 110lb card stock. Yeah I used 74 for the scale for the testers, which makes the height 45.1cm, maybe 42 will be better. I'll try rebuilding the thigh later at 42 and see what happens. Thanks.

    Purelunatic's Armor Progress

Update time. I have a HD shin and thigh done using the same scale I used for the sizing pieces. However it seems the thigh may be too big :( . Any input?
