Chest Armor:
Chest pc from rough print to smooth surface. Registration pegs are used to align the parts then re-enforced with epoxy. Thickness is 3-5 mm throughout making the chests total weight 3.5 lbs. Gray image is the current state more touch ups are needed in small areas. Back Jet pack...
Resin printed two part molds, COD and shoulder parts ab sections. The soft armor will be attached using SilPoxy from Smoothon. I have already proven this with my prototype suit. The parts come out smooth and easily come out of the molds.
Under Suit Build:
I wanted something more than a printed flat under suit or a flat black version. So I modeled the entire soft armor parts of the under suit. Then converted the models to open and closed faced hard molds. Then printed them on my resin printer, sealed them with paint and then...
Warrior Custom build:
I am making a new armor set after many years of not making anything for myself. All hard parts will be 3D modeled and printed by me. Under Suit has has been 3D printed as hard molds with Silicon parts Ill make a separate thread on that since its complicated. All modeled...
Would depend on the part of the armor, printer settings like infill percentage and wall thickness. Typically I have used 6 - 8 rolls of filament if I had to guess. For my current its a combo of resin and filament so its hard to say how much I have used so far.
I dont sell or give away any of my models without the thought that someone will take it and resell it and there is nothing I can really do about it. Once the 3D file is out in the wild you lose all control over it. If it something popular I only offer a 3D print of it and not the file itself.
The cod piece and other sections I created with custom molds and Black dragon skin silicon. I will eventually sell the under suit sections as a kit with instructions on attaching it to the under suit.

Hello, everyone
The first image is of the model I created of the Recon Helmet. I plan on eventually printing and casting this the one I am wearing was created by a good friend "Walter Marlin" of mine in Stony Props.
Since I had to build two suits at once thought I would share the images...
Here is the shot of the Shins and boots. The boots are coral dive boots, meaning they basically have bottoms like a pair of tennis shoes but the tops are flexible neoprene material. I did not harden these parts of the boot simply because it would wear better being flexible and I didnt want it to...
