So this is the helmet basically put together, minus the visor, and ear piece, because for some reason.... its too small to fit. And this is me while wearing the helmet. Excuse my super displeased face. I just feel like, yea the padding will make it fit and even on me, but it looks...

Yea, I figured that, but looking at if it's proportionate to my size, it looks pretty off. I looked at a few other threads with helmets in the first stages and it looks off compared to their sizes. I'll post a picture of it today.

I do with there was a better way of knowing where each piece goes rather then just looking at different reference pictures. It can be a bit of a pain haha. Also: I have a few strips of paper that I have NO IDEA where they go. Like I assume they would be edges to the larger pieces... huh.

Thanks for the encouragement so far guys! I'll look into some references for the pieces, I'm pretty excited to get this finally on its way. Weeeell, I'm just using that to hold the pieces together so far as well as some butterfly clips. But I will be gluing it all together. Maybe rubber...

Honestly, even though it's called "Anime Expo" it is the second biggest con in SoCal compared to Comic Con. It's a wide variety based convention. Yes their might be a bit more of Anime seen, but there is just as much Video game, comic, and Sci Fi costumes. I'm actually hoping to get my ODST done...

Really? Well thanks for the info then. I only worried about the breast plate for comfort reasons lol, but I agree with you that I will just be going with the standard version. Thanks for the info man :)

Wow man, I've been stalking this page for a few months now and this is looking great! It's really giving me some great idea's for the ODST build I want to eventually do. Keep up the good work man. Looking forward to more posts :)

Honestly I really love the ODST helmet over DARE's ONI version. I think what I'd most likely do is use and ODST build and just change up the breastplate a bit. Nothing to drastic. For now I have to figure out how to get the program for my Mac (damn duel boots) And then I can start searching...
