Well, with the deadline right on top of us, I'm happy to say that the marines are in the finishing stages. We'll probably still be touching things up as we're going out the door, but we'll be ready to drop on schedule! We'll be helping out at the midnight release at the Westbrook Mall EB Games...

I've been thinking of this same project for a while now. I'm so busy with other projects that it may never get done though, so it's nice to see someone else will keep the idea alive. Best of luck on this build!

Good news! I think I've solved the shoulder strap problem: The images suck, but here's the rundown. The webbing attached to the chestplate has the silver buckle attached at the top, and a black buckle on the end, which connects to a buckle on the shoulder strap. It's much more accurate, and...

Here it is, finally! The finished helmet! I'll probably weather it some more later too, but I've got to get working on the armour plates now.

I'd hoped the helmet would be done today, but that's not going to happen. It should be done tomorrow, but in the meantime, here's where it's at now:

Haji, it's a kid's helmet with all the padding ripped out. It seems to be a good size, for me at least. BeLsTeN, we're using sintra for this build. There's details earlier in the thread. Here are the boots I found today: $180 Harley Davidson boots. The most accurate boots I could find...
