Looks really awesome, Dragonrage! Any weapons? I'll share some pictures of my completed Ground Gundam sometime later.

I got a friend interested in forming an MS 08th group cosplay. He wants to do EZ8. In my spare time, I'll unfold some of the EZ8 parts. Head, shin, torso (unfolded), and backpack PDO files have been posted by other members. Are there any PDO files for EZ8's shoulder and front cod piece? Also...

OMG, thanks a lot BlertZ! I've never unfolded before, but I'm definitely to going to learn for the sake of making a GM Sniper II head cosplay! You are the best! There's two versions of Strike that I've used for my cosplay and both files were locked. I found a nifty trick to convert locked PDO...

OMG BlertZ, you are a life saver! I've been searching for a Sniper II model for a very long time! As for the shield, I ran out of time and couldn't finish the top half. Later on, I'll remake it.

Brief update, I finished my Aile Strike a while ago. Ground Gundam might be my next undertaking. I still haven't had luck with 3D scanning. If I can get 3D scanning to work, I would really love to make RGM-79SP GM Sniper II costume.

I used Nextengine's ScanStudio HD, which was made specifically for their 3D scanner products. It allows me to take 360 scans, which I redo and different angles. After, it tries to merge the different angled sans into a single 3D model. It also has some tools to clean the model before export...

3D scanner didn't work out to well. The files had way too much polycount and it was really tedious trying to reduce it using meshlab. I may attempt using 3D scanner again later down the road using larger scaled models like 1/100 and 1/60, but my focus at the moment is to finish my Strike Gundam...

So far, I've had mixed results using a 3D scanner. The model comes out to be somewhat crude. Here's a couple results from scanning HG 1/144 Build Strike model: Head: Shoulder: My biggest problem is cleaning model, which have 600k + verticies. I've been researching way to reduce...

+1 to Gundams not being 100% proportioned to humans. I think the arms aren't off judging by pictures in Clive Lee's Mecha Cosplay tutorial: http://www.therpf.com/f24/general-gundam-mecha-cosplay-tutorial-160555/ Shoes definitely needs to be elevated. Extensions for legs isn't needed if stilts...

I just finished watching 0080 War in the Pocket. It does an amazing job portraying the lost of innocence from the realities of war. I love how the RX-78NT-1 Gundam has forearm mounted gatling cannons. It would be cool to figure out a mechanism where the gatling guns automatically pop out at a...
