When you placed the support struts in did it straighten the slight warp on the brim. I had a similar warp post glassing which if you want to achieve perfect symmetry is a nightmare to sort, so much so I think I'll build a new one as it would be easier than fixing with Bondo. Everything looks...

Nice folding there, I think I may redo my helmet this year as the warping I got on the brim drove me mad trying to fix at the bondo stage and I'll not be happy unless its as square as you've got yours. Good look when you resin and glass it, should be an excellent base.

Awesome job there building up from scratch. I love the helmet most.

Its hard to be sure from the poor picture but it looks like your Bondo layers are a little on the thick side. Its better to build up in thin layers to retain more detail and also its easier to sand and see blemishes. If you can get a better shot of the helmet sometime it would be nice to see...

Maybe its just me but I love the paintjob! There might be the odd flaw you don't like of course but it looks stunning to me.

Not done much work cutting acrylic since school but back then we used a bench jigsaw and obviously taped the edges of each cut. Once thats done you just buff it up with a polishing wheel on the dremel. I think if you clamped the acrylic to a bench then you could do it freehand with a jigsaw...
