Some frag grenades 3d printed, also redoing the SMG...printed out 2 grenades, felt they were too big for my purposes so the other 2 on the left were shrunk down a bit. Finally happy with the size. Will probably just sell the 2 large ones as I got no use for them.

thingiverse has some nice ammunition models to download as well, not exact Halo cartridges but very passable.

Thanks! I use a mix of bondo glazing putty and filler primer. I've actually done a lot of 3d printing work for prosthetic limbs but props are just a bit newer for me on it but I've built props and costumes for the past 6-7 years so I figure this was just about time.

Hey guys, been a lurker here for a long time (my 2010 join date) and thought I'd finally push forward on my build. I've always wanted to build up an entire ODST set and got a bit of help with my 3d printers. First part of the build...the silenced SMG. I am printing the SMG from the files...

The actual modeling part of it and modifying the walls for a thinner print. I have a couple of printers though not keen on spending hours and hours on them for a single print due to thickness. Do you mind me asking what modeling program you use?

Having a lot of the same issues and new to simplify3d. Will be keeping an eye out on this.
