Well, construction continues, never fear. Wound up using high-temp glue, just because it is all the school store had, and since my hands are so adapted to the heat from a forge, I wasn't burned too badly. Managed to get part of the chest glued together and some of the shoulder strapping pieces...

well, if you look around, you'll find quite a few threads on the Dare gear. as for the shoulder straps, they are connected to a recon pack. that will also be with one of the threads. sorry I couldn't help you more, but my computer just got wiped.
