I'm out here in Spokane if that's near you, I don't know any other armor builders who live out this way though. :/

I'm new and DONT KNOW WHERE TO START (EVA FOAM).

Well You can find the download for this helmet on this thread:http://www.405th.com/f28/halo-4-hayabusa-concept-armor-40336/ I don't think it would work out to try and modify the h3 hayabusa to look like the h4 hayabusa.

How do I make my Pepakura look "Clean"

I followed Cereal Kill3r's Bondo tutoiral on youtube and I definitely saw some improvement in my builds. Especially because I was grinding down those sharp edges with a file I had to use less bondo and there were no semi-Jagged parts at the end of sanding.

    Majora's Mask Build

Yeah, it's going to be more a display thing. I don't really think any skull kid cosplay looks good unless you're about 10 years old, or a really skinny, short girl. I will probably punch some holes near the edges of the eyes and put some black see through plastic so I can at least wear the mask...

Halo 5: Guardians Beta Armor (Helioskrill)

I know there a lot of people that think this armor looks weird, But I LOVE IT! This is a great looking 3d model. I wish I had more experience myself to be able to aid you, but as far as I see, this looks pretty dang good.

(Foam)Getting started on my first suit, my spartan from halo reach

Okay, so I'm not quite sure which foam you are using, but normally we all use EVA floor mats. They're all grey and you can usually find them at hardware stores (like Sears, Home Depot or Lowes). And I wasn't sure from the picture you uploaded, but are you using pepakura templates to make you...

    Halo 4 Oceanic Helmet Build

Interesting approach at making a helmet, I cant wait to see how it turns out for you. DId you have a date when you hope to finish it by?

Halo 3 EOD Helmet (first build) (finished!)

I love this helmet, The subtle weathering makes it look really good. I might have to take a note from your book when I start weathering my armor. And by the way, could you give me the name and brand of the main paint color of the helm? It looks about the same color as the next helmet I was going...

    Custom Project Foam Armor

WOAH! those are some sweet details you put into these shoulder pieces. I'm pretty jealous that I can't work that well with foam. the middle of the piece has some white foam that seems a bit thinner than the rest, where'd you get that foam at?

    Majora's Mask Build

Well, I didn't expect many replies to this thread (maybe I should've waited until it was finished), but I'm still working on the mask as my main project for right now. I got most of the bondo work out of the way and I have started on the horns. I will probably make only the two horns and just...

Halo 4 Venator Spartan IV "Complete"

Re: First Build - Venator Spartan suit Well here's a link to some foam Venator files if you were looking for them http://www.405th.com/f28/halo-4-venator-torso-shoulder-foam-templates-pdos-jtm1997-40338 They're not 100% game accurate, but they're pretty good files to use for a first time build...

    A thing I can't have...

Or you can buy one of the original halo laser tag plasma rifles for about $150 used on ebay. Those have sounds and lights too.

    SirDan's MKVI Build

It's exactly just that. I learned the foamy method from this youtube video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXYBjvzztrY The method you might be looking for is closer to the method where you add cardboard to the armor/helemt piece before you resin it in order to create the little raised details...

Suggestions on making War Master Visor

Personally I would try vacuum forming, use some alclad II Chrome to get a reflective finish, then use some tamiya clear coat to give it the right color. I imagine that would give you the right curves in the helmet and give you the most visibility. I haven't seen a whole lot of people trying to...
